Jessica Marasco and Derek Illes, a married couple, are excited to both live and work in the heart of Old Gretna. Jessica—a financial advisor by profession and a wine enthusiast at all times—and Derek, an audio engineer for film and television, never imagined they’d one day own a little piece of the neighborhood in the form of a wine bar. Once regular patrons themselves, they could often be spotted strolling in with their daughter (and, a few years later, their son) to enjoy a glass of wine. Proud Saints fans and Mardi Gras devotees, Jessica and Derek love being out in the community, always on the hunt for the best wines and snacks to share with you.
